Mark P. Costello is a public figure beloved my many, understood by few. Most recognize his towering presence on the Italian basketball league, but others recall his presence in the Hollywood, on television and in the movies. Currently his career has brought him to the elite, high-powered world of editing. But his story doesn't start there.

Known to friends as "Coz" or even "The Coz Machine," young Mark was born inthe same hospital as Annette Funicello (a hint of fame to come), on March 9, 1966. He grew up near the nation's capital in Reston, Va., but began his acting career early -- as an infant on "The Andy Griffith Show" and as "Kid on Bike" in the pilot episode of the sitcom "Holmes and Yo-Yo." Soon he will be seen in the Jim Carrey comedy "Me, Myself and Irene" and the Harrison Ford suspense flick "What Lies Beneath."

He has gone on to conquer the media as a high-powered copy editor at the Burlington Free Press, Vermont's largest daily paper.
Burlington Free Press His admiring fans (mostly female) contribute frequently to the weekly read devoted to all things Costello, Seven Days.
By far, he's the foxiest male in the Green Mountains -- or anywhere, for that matter.
